Situemonos en el Multiverso, el paso natural después de los caminantes de planos eran (no podía ser de otra manera) los planos.
No os asusteis, en principio este tipo de cartas estan fuera de nuestro deck habitual, bien por su tamaño, bien por su papel en el juego.
Cada carta de plano está en un mazo diferente, con un mínimo de 10 cartas, llamado "mazo planar". Por su naturaleza, los planos es recomendable utilizarse en partidas multijugador, es decir de 2 a 6 jugadores.
En todo momento, en el juego sólo hay una carta de plano, ¿de quién es ese plano?; El primer plano en mesa sale de la parte superior del mazo planar del primer jugador activo, que coincide controlador y propietario del plano. Al pasar el turno, el plano permanece en juego y su controlador pasa a ser siempre el jugador activo, más adelante sabremos como cambiar de plano.

Para empezar, los planos no son permanentes, ya sabeis todo lo que ello conlleva, no pueden ser objetivo por lo general.
Están en una zona llamada "Comando" (Command), y tienen dos habilidades: Una estática/disparada y otra con un nuevo símbolo llamado "Caos" (Chaos), las habilidades caos funcionan cuando sacas ese simbolo en el dado planar, ahora bien, ¿qué es el dado planar?



El dado planar tiene 6 caras de las cuales 4 son caras blancas (no tienen ningún efecto sobre el juego), 1 símbolo del caos Chaos ( Izquierda ) y 1 símbolo de Planeswalker (Derecha).
El jugador activo puede lanzar el dado en cualquier momento que pueda lanzar un conjuro, esto no tiene respuesta por parte de otro jugador, es un hecho especial.
Para lanzar el dado, tienes que pagar 1 Mana por cada lanzamiento este turno. Esto quiere decir, que la primera tirada es gratis, la segunda tirada cuesta 1 Mana , la tercera tirada 2 Mana, etc.
Ya sabemos lo que hace el símbolo del caos, que es activar la segunda habilidad del plano, las cuales van a la pila y pueden ser "respondidas".
¿Qué hace el símbolo del Planeswalker? En cuanto saques ese simbolo, el plano actual se pone en la parte inferior del mazo planar de su propietario, y el nuevo plano en la mesa es el de la parte superior del mazo planar del jugador activo, fácil eh?
Este hecho es cambiar de planos; ahora bien en algunos planos se disparan habilidades de "Planeswalk away" ( Sales del plano) y "Planeswalk to" (Llegas al plano).



Al utilizarse en partidas jugador, si en la zona de comando se encuentra el plano del jugador A, y ese jugador cae en batalla (eliminado), automáticamente el jugador activo pone su plano en mesa. Si resulta que es turno de A, se acaba el turno y el siguiente plano en mesa es propiedad del siguiente jugador activo.

When you planeswalk to The Æther Flues or at the beginning of your upkeep you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card, put that card onto the battlfield then shuffle all other cards revealed this way into your library.
Chaos| Whenever you roll Chaos, you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield.

Magic se va extendiendo cada vez mas y esa idea me parece genial. Tengo ganas de pronto comprarme el Mazo de elementales y probar lo de los planos.
